Leo

The DVD is playing

Peggy giving her speech

Then a bright little fellow

Takes us into the class rooms

Of the Joy Kuling Street School Branch

I know his name is Leo

Gary had told me this- must be a week ago

I look around and try to find him

Not as hard as I thought

On the right not far from me

His head buried in his hands

Fingers in his ears

As we watch him on the large screen

He is unaware what an great job he did

I will tell him later, how impressed I am

I'll ask him if he will consider learning

In his Chinese language

Not English he spoke so well today

Where his talents shone captivating my attention
