One Piece of Music a Day
I close my eyes and I listen to,
my One Piece of Music a Day
which was you-
When you hugged and held me tight
You -when I saw love reflected in your eyes
You when you made me laugh,
as we wrestled over a furry Bear
You giving me a flower,
picked from the garden just outside the door
You - as you placed a hot washer on my face
You calling me for breakfast,
set up on the lawn outside
You- when you massaged my back
You tucking a blanket around me at night
You walking fully clothed into my shower
You- when you left me little love notes
You as you tried to teach me French
You as you did your funny Bower Bird Dance,
impressing me with something blue
My one piece of music a day
A symphony of your love
