Memories

You stop yourself, you're in control
But then the mind takes over
You feel his warmth
You hear his breath
the smell left on his pillow
You close your eyes
And snuggle close
Rest on his arm to sleep
Reach up to touch his cheek
And find he's no longer there
The tears just flow
Without a sound
You stop yourself, you're in control
But then the mind takes over
