Booze and Drugs

"Booze and Drugs, They're Okay!"
You'll hear the young ones say
"If you don't try it how would you know
We are in control and it feels okay"
Well, I'd just like to tell you
I've seen so many kids
Who do seem happy for awhile
But I also see the pain
The retreat into themselves
Or the burst of ocverdirve
The personality slowly changing
Motivation down the drain
A clock just ticks away
The bomb that controls the soul
There seems to be a lot of brain
Which can be enhanced by the drugs
But while they are doing so, it eats away
At what you used to be
At the special part we call the soul
And what you were born to be
