Forgive me! I forgot it was Wednesday yesterday, I had helped celebrated the birth of a sixth grandchild born on Tuesday to the daughter of someone very special in my life. The fact the little fellow was born in France added to my feeling for it's future at the moment.
Funny how other peoples pain can disappear from our minds when we are having a good time. Maybe there lies the problem.
This morning in the light of day, I thought about the new Mum and her little bub.
Then thought about the new mum's in Iraq and can know in my womb, what they may be going through. I can imagine their fear for the future of their new born if it made it. I can't imagine their fear trying to give birth as this war goes on.
It made me know that the little I am doing may help some of them.
Last Wednesday afternoon at 3.38, the Leader of the Democrats Senator Bartlett on behalf of Senate Natasha Stott Despoja moved a motions giving support to the HOPE project and urging the Government to give more funds for Humanitarian aid for the children of Iraq.
Now that beats an OAM medal in a box any day. The fact that HOPE was only 14 days old adds to the achievement. Thank you Senator Stott Despoja, and Raina from the Senator's office for the copy of motion from Hansard

Inspiration has affected what I have done all week.
First from Arsenio from the Global Strategic Alliance who brought me up to date with where things are with the Alliance, I will be receiving two letters in the next few weeks and the news in them is pretty good. Will tell you about them when the letters arrive.
Arsenio and myself have become very good friend and I look forward to meeting up with him this year.
Arsenio in a separate email sent me a copy of a speech by Deepak Chopra. As I am not sure if he has already given the speech, so until I know that I won't post it on the website. Hate to release it before he makes it :-)
So impressed was I with it, he mentions about Deodorant brands,
which made me know how much synergy we have. So much of what he is saying are things I say, it's the unconscious birthing of the New Humanity.
His speech set in motion my creative spirit, that not only did I write "Weep not for the children of Iraq" but 15 more poems, one song and a number of articles.
Synergy at it's best.
I will soon have enough for a small book and hope that Deepak will write the forward for it. Being involved with him on the Alliance will be amazing journey for me. In fact every member of the Alliance will inspire me. I can't wait to see what else I create.
I have spent most of my time working on projects for other people, Like the HOPE project. I am good at inspiring others, I gain so much from this. But it is when I am with my colleagues and peers that my own creativity takes over and I just have to do my own work. This week has been one of the best personal weeks for Kerry.
Had a call from my soulmate Bondy from Cherbourg, he had heard I was on TV giving back the OAM, and he had missed it. The good thing is he was there when I got it and he is always a reminder of why I got it. I said "I'm not doing much for indigenous artists at the moment" He said " Good and don't! good to see you doing your own things, instead of not doing them and all the time helping people like me"
Nothing could made me feel happier then knowing Bondy is sober, painting, working part time. Had a birthday, his first bull ride for a long time the week before last.
Yes there is something that makes me happier - the fact that he is now advising me makes it all worthwhile.
Last Saturday the Cairns Post ran a nice story on the HOPE project launch at Djarragun on the 18th march. Then on last Monday I had the MY Saycolumn in the same paper.
So the message of HOPE is spreading.
Also being doing a lot of brainstorming with a few people. Jeremy Seligon who has a wonderful project for children called Peace Train, we are working out how we can network together and I look forward to spending time in South Korea with him, be nice if we can take both projects to North Korea.
Just when we have it worked out what we will be doing. I find via the internet that Yusuf Islam (Cat Steven) Sir Paul McCartney, Bowie, Elton John and others will be releasing an Album shortly, to raise money for the children in Iraq.
The title they chose is HOPE one track Yusuf will sing is Peace Train, how that for meant to be.
I only wish we had known a bit sooner as our One Mind One Voice song that Zeeza from Canada is working on with one of the top Native Musicians Golden Eagle, would I am sure, have been perfect to be part of this Peace Collection. Never mind I am sure they will all hear our song and we will hear their songs.
Have a nice day, I will as my creative spirit soars higher in search of a clear sky for all of us.
