I know it's not Wednesday- but

          8th October 2002

Caitlin Jean
Futurist
Australia

I have been thinking about Caitlin's birthday, she will turn two on the 30th November 2002. I have been thinking about how we are going with our plan, to make it a better world for her and all children before she is 15 years old in the year 2015.
I look around the world and contemplate, is it better or worse since she was born? I have also been thinking, how best can we mark the occasion of her second birthday?

A cease fire around the world would be a good present for her and all the children of the world.

Caitlin Jean, has not been so well over the past few weeks, in fact she had a nearly a week in hospital.
A virus going around, left her not eating and very dehydrated. Imagine how frightening this could have been for a 22 months old child. If she was alone and in pain, so many other are.
There was one thing that made all the difference for Caitlin, she had by her side all through the days and nights at the hospital, her guardian, her Mum.
Caitlin unlike so many around the world, is protected by many Guardians, she is indeed a very lucky little girl.
At the August, Peace in Peacetime Conference held in Puerto Rico a very important historical document the DECLARATION OF PUERTO RICO: CONNECTING THE NEW HUMANITY was written. Little did they or I know how important it was for Caitlin Jean and all the children of the world. Little did the participants at that conference or I know that Caitlin was about to have many more Guardians.

Part of email from Arensio explains it very well.

How do you like the following title: Global Strategic Alliance for the New Humanity: One Mind One Voice. It would be a beginning. Yes my dear friend I agree with you there are no coincidences in life. Our getting to know each other in purpose and mind, our sharing of the feeling and the concerns are meant to be as we connect with each other. And this connectivity, unbeknownst to the inventors of the Internet, will change the world. The days are counted for our Cowboys and Indian games. The power will belong to this New Humanity connected directly to themselves without intermediaries, no more room for politicians and leaders, but to play the humble leading role the leading goose plays on the migrating flock. Those pundits of power in the big capitals that we empowered by our indifference and isolation are very soon going to be disfranchised. And our duty, our mission, the task set in motion by Hope dressed as Caitlin is to connect this New Humanity and make them have one mind one voice. To help us all overcome our weaknesses and forgive, to become aware of our oneness, anticipated by ancient wisdom and religion, demonstrated by modern physics, and devote ourselves to heal the pain in others and in us, and to lead the singing in the celebration of Life.
I will talk to Deepak Chopra and Ricky and the others. (By the way I got to find you through an email from Betty Williams, this fantastic woman, who besides is a Nobel Prize for Peace, just because there is not a Nobel Prize for Woman). Our visions coincide. Funding now is not the problem, we are now beyond that, our capability has been increased a million-fold. Let the power brokers worry about infrastructure and media and publicity, we shall focus on hearts, because there is a hunger in the world for feeling and love and we all know it. Let us bring the secret forward, the answer, the love, the good will is in all of us, living tenderly but steel tenderly, waiting for the connection to explode in an inside out transformation and we will laugh. Best, Arsenio

I think you will agree, Caitlin has some wonderful guardians helping her Granma.
Are we going to make it a better world for her and all other children?

Of course we are!
