Actions speak louder then words

          16/4/2003

I fly out on Sunday to the Sunshine Coast, the computer gets packed away tomorrow and will be in storage for awhile. As I don't have a laptop at this stage, I will be limited to using my sons computer. Speaking as a proud Mum, Jay will be representing Queensland in the National titles for archery at the end of the month, another reason I need to be down there.

While you may not hear from me for a while, just know in your hearts that HOPE is alive and well.

Check in each week to the site and HOPE update, as this is what I will be working on and I will be adding information to HOPE page.

Among the many emails from people who are spreading the word about One Mind one voice and HOPE was this lovely one from Joyce one of the Code Pink organisation in the States.

...................................................................................................

In a moment when hope is needed

In a moment when fear tries to gain a hold

In a moment when doubt begins to shake you

The flow of love unfurls.

Kerry~

What a blessing to receive your email; the above poem was inspired by the video--feel free to use it if you'd like. Thank you for the opportunity to spread the word about you work.

Blessings,

Joyce

"One day an army of grey-hair women may quietly take over the Earth."

One day I think G Steinem maybe right, is it 70% of the worlds population are women?

Who would all want Peace I would think.

Then how many children are there in the world? Hummmmmmmmmmmmm

Why are we letting a few the majority of the population, letting a few power hungry men decide our children's future???

Hell this is going to be easier then I thought

HOPE is on the way. Women and children around the world all working together on a projects for Peace.

Now can I dye the hair grey and remember to be quite. :-)

Remember last week, I talked about the Glad Game. I have so much to be glad about.

Giving back my Order of Australia Medal as protest to the War in Iraq, brought a email from Philip Levy (Mr Stubbies) asking me to reconsider returning them. he said

"Kerry remember Governments come and go, you earnt that OAM.",/B> I have learnt, the medals maybe gone, but it is your actions that are remembered forever.

Going back to the Sunshine Coast, where I received the medals. Back to work with the people of Noosa and the community who were so much a part of my life during the years when as Philip says, I earnt those medals.

I know in my heart and soul that the Noosa community, that I haven't been actively involved with since the early 90's will again take me under their wing and support me 100%.

They know I will be honest, hardworking, loyal and leave them again with something to be proud of. Last time it was a Regional Gallery, this time Noosa will be the place which started a One Mind One Voice. Global Children's Festival.

All of you are at the awakening of a dream, now we just believe and achieve. As with the Regional Gallery, we start with nothing, but a good idea and the right people, what could be better.

I always try to lead by example. I never expect anyone to do anything I wouldn't do myself. I learn by my mistakes and enjoy will learning from my peers, which could include a street dweller, a child, indigenous people, artist, scholar, politician, each having expertise I can absorb and learn from. We are the Family of Humanity.

Wonder if the USA can say that when they return to the UN?

I have so much to be Glad about. I may have less the $100.00 to my name, but I was cheeky enough to email Philip Levy, who consulted for me during the 80 -90s in the time I received the OAM. Philip now consults for the department of business and many people around Australia.

In the email I asked him if he would to be my business partner, as I want to go back to making some products. I need to make a living, so I can concentrate on the projects like HOPE.

There are very few people I would trust to go into business with me. Philip happens to be one of the few.

You guessed it he said Yes. This beats an OAM any day, as this man knows me and how I operate in business more then anyone. He has been there in the ups and the downs. He knows first hand my ability to make money and the reasons I do it.

The fact he trusts me to be his partner speaks volumes.

I wonder how many countries will want to go into partnerships with Bush, given his track record?

It has nothing to do with how much money or power you have, it is about three principals. Honesty, Loyalty and Trust.

I look forward to working with Philip, Noosa Shire, the Global Alliance, my wonderful supporter around the world, and the children of the world, all people I trust with my life and Caitlin's future.

Yes I do have a lot to be glad about.

Howard is welcome to my OAM and Bush any day.

and the ignorance that could allow soldiers to initially post signs only in English to "stop here" in an Arabic country... causing them to shoot innocent families! http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,935298,00.html

Or who could allow looting to destroy the treasures of a country so old that they go back to the dawn of civilisation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/2948021.stm This is no better then the Tabiban destroying the Buddha's in Afghanistan.

Photos of people waving and being so happy about the liberation, why wouldn't they be when the liberators allow them to then take anything they want.

I say not bad pay for TV extras! http://sf.indymedia.org/news/2003/04/1599403.php

Or the pain inflicted on people in the name of liberation. http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/04/14/1050172547160.html

Which make you wonder what Bush's next dream is. http://www.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle.jhtml?type=focusIraqNews&storyID=2555859

I like Gloria Steinem's dream better.

Have a nice day, I will because my brother in Taipei is out of quarantine and back at work and WHO has good news for Taiwan, so I should still be going there with HOPE project in June. Have lots of children there wanting to give a handprint for HOPE. http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/front/archives/2003/04/14/201985

Got some lovely handprints from distant education the other day.
