A bit of background while you wait for the download.
Just after September 11 2001, and the bombing of Afghanistan, I was searching the internet to find a more personal face to all I was seeing and hearing through the media about Afghanistan.
I came across a beautiful, but very moving little movie by Sayed Yahya, called
"Cry for Afghanistan" I emailed him and made him my Ambassador for Afghanistan.
Yahya is a graphic arts student, from Afghanistan, studying in Pakistan. We became Soul Mates from that day. Yahya mentioned to me that he would like to put one of my poems into a movie sometime.
I knew then- I had not written that poem, I would know when the time was right.
Around July, I had been contacted by Ofir Nafkar a very talent musician from Israel. A indigenous word Bumma, a word he was searching for through Google, the reason we were brought together. We communicated and I listened to his beautiful music and at the same time, thought about what was happening in the Middle East, right at that moment
On the 17th July I woke and wrote the poem, One Mind One Voice
I knew then -this was the poem Yahya should make into the movie you are about to see.
I asked Ofir if he would put the music to it and even while busy working on a new video clip, he did and then sent this on to Yahya, who has worked his magic yet again, this time for my poem
One Mind One Voice
