HOPE is the day Joy became One Mind One Voice

A Family of Humanity

In Taiwan, on the 30th August 2003 at the Taipei Children's Recreation Center, I got to stand up on a stage and ask the most important question, I will ever ask on behalf of Caitlin Jean and the Children of the World.
Below is what I said and then asked, 99 selected families and VIP'S including

Dr Gary Song-Huann LIN, Director -General Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Jung-Tai Cho,
Legislator, Director Department of Social Development.
Sam Chen
"In the short time I have been in Taiwan as the guest of the Joy Children's Cultural and Education Foundation, I am filled with HOPE that my promise to my granddaughter Caitlin Jean - of a better world for her and all children, by the year 2015 - is very possible"

"I only have one thing to ask you?"
"Will you become - One Mind One Voice A Family of Humanity?"
To which they replied

Loud enough for Caitlin and the world to hear.

I say thank you to the Joy Children's Cultural and Educational Foundation and to the 99 selected families in Taiwan.
I will now ask that same question, everywhere I go around the world.
Together on the 30th August those three simple words of "YES WE DO"fill me with HOPE that
I will keep that promise to Caitlin and all children by the year 2015.
