www.queenslandgovernment.com officially began on the 24th November 2000 a few days before the birth of the Caitlin Jean on the 30th November 2000. On the first of November 2000, Caitlin’s Granma, Premier Kerry appointed Caitlin as Minister for Vision and Hope in her Virtual Democracy Government www.queenslandgovernment.com with a promise to Caitlin that she would carry out the new Minister’s policy of wanting to grow up in a world like the one John Lennon sang about in his song "Imagine" a world of peace and non-violence for all children.
This Government is committed to making the Minister for Vision and Hope's policy a reality by the time Caitlin turns 15 in the year 2015 to search for non-violent alternatives to conflict - and to addressing injustices which lie at the root of conflict.

Through its worldwide network of groups and its international secretariat, www.queenslandgovernment.com acts to promote a global culture of non-violence in the following ways:
through education and training in active non-violence, with special attention to deepening the understanding of non-violence in world religions;

Members of the www.queenslandgovernment.com network live out their commitment to non-violence on different levels:
by nurturing the seeds of peace in themselves while recognising their own violence and transforming it in the depths of their hearts;
by pursuing a simple life style respectful of nature and its resources;
by opposing war, armed conflict and their preparation and by proposing non-violent ways of solving conflicts as a viable alternative;
by standing in solidarity with those who are oppressed and exploited;
by struggling against oppressive systems, racism, and sexism and entering into compassionate dialogue with those responsible for oppression;
by recognising the present economic system as a primary source of violence; and by promoting economic alternatives and just social systems.
To uphold the philosophy of the Way of the Circle which is our Bill of Rights to all humanity.
