Alliance for the New Humanity

The Alliance is a venue for encounter for those who are working for humanity, a platform responding to the challenge of dehumanization, by unifying the constructive, caring, human voices of the world. Its goal is to recapture humanity's humanity, to reconnect with the spiritual value of oneness, to connect those perceiving it and project the feeling through all means, far and wide, increasing the sharing platform of humankind.

The Alliance is a consciousness raising effort, the crystallization of an emerging feeling, not a moral crusade. The New Humanity will not emerge from a social movement, it never has. ANH is just connecting those already endowed with sensibility to others and making their message known. Strengthening their voices by making them sing at the same time; many candles together to light the path. The Alliance is not an "organization". It is an exchange platform, a substratum and a unifying concept to help precipitate, out of the many individuals and groups already working in life nurturing agendas, a critical mass of awareness that changes the prevalent message content and influences policies and behaviors that recognize the oneness of life.

The Alliance sets out from the premise, that the emergent new humanity is happening through an inner release, and that it is just helping its crystallization by bringing together those who are in tune with that melody so they can sing, in a choir of many voices that changes the music of the world. The perception of oneness is there in those who are awake and awakening others will happen spontaneously, like love. What the Alliance needs to do is aggregate, broadcast, and connect, the rest will happen.

The Alliance for the New Humanity came to light spontaneously, when individuals from all walks of life, concerned about the dehumanizing trends that prevail in the world, got together to assess the deterioration of human values as perceived in the upsurge of, accelerating economics and social inequalities, terrorism and wars, social violence, ecological degradation and a generalized spread of social fear, individual frustration and lack of respect for life.

They concluded that the root cause is the indifference to the other, as a result of the materialistic models adopted as organizing principles of society (and the adversarial reactions to them), with their emphasis on selfishness, competition, accumulation, and separateness (like the exacerbation of nationalism and religious fundamentalism).

These models have spread throughout the world thanks to communications technologies and trade globalization patterns, and have caused severe crises in the institutions that previously had received the trust of people and provided the moral codes for society to operate; organized religions, political parties, and ideological constructs.

All these are collapsing or on the verge of collapsing, they represent an old world order which at present has been replaced by an "each man to himself" free- for- all philosophy, in which coded values have been replaced by cunning, manipulation of information and the law of the strongest. The media envelope reinforces it. The broadcast waves are hyper saturated with scandals, violence, wars, and fear.

Many people in the world are aware of the dehumanizing trends; they perceive the need for more positive thinking, for a more compassionate society, for a less poignant media envelope. And each of them in their daily life inspire others to think, or act with others through groups and organizations to address some of the side-effects of these dehumanizing trends; social injustice, abused human rights, ecological degradation, economic disparities.

Still, the overall prevailing models, the root cause of all these negative impacts, are becoming more widespread, and national and international policies, rather than focusing on the solution of these problems, are contributing to their magnification. The Alliance is calling on all of these sensitive individuals, concerned about the prevalent dehumanizing trends, and the organizations working for peace, social justice and other humanitarian principles; "peace cells"- focal points to precipitate a new, more compassionate humanity. Connecting them, into a global human network, would lead to the creation of a critical mass of people, outfitting this critical mass with coordination and information resources would make them an influential power to change national and international policy in line with a more compassionate humanity. They will have an empowered voice to initiate a different mainstream message context; they would coordinate actions to press for change and to stop abuses and social inequalities.

This is the essence of the Alliance, a tool to connect those who recognize lasting values, those who want to create a more compassionate world, and to help facilitate the dawn of a New Humanity, that is emerging already, through the release of an inner wave of universal spirituality in humankind.
